Daylon, otherwise known as "Day" was 25 years old. He loved the LORD with all his heart and sought to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ everywhere he went. Daylon was a wonderful pilot, who loved flying and dreaming of flying into remote areas to bring encrouagement and hope to the people. His love for the LORD was made visible through his love and thoughtfulness toward all those around him. He was always smiling and eager for spontaneous adventures. I admired him in so many ways, as a best friend, for the way he dreamed and lived, for his selfless leadership, for how he adored his family, and as man recklessly abandoned to truly live for Jesus Christ. The world will be a darker place without Daylon as Heaven just got a lot brighter. On the other hand we who have been touched by the Light of Christ that beamed, like a torch in the night, through Daylon's tender touch and ingiting encouragement will be spread all around this world. I know for a fact I will never be the same again -- my life is not the same. Daylon always told me, "It's the little things in life Vicky..." so "...don't worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, or what you will wear. For life is more than food and the body is more than clothing." (Luke 12:22-23) This is one thing I learned from him, to LIVE Life, to LOVE Family, and to Focus upon the upward calling of Christ Jesus no matter the cost.

Daylon -- I love you.
"Lift up your eyes on high and see who had created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, Not one of them is missing...Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power....Those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary." Isaiah 40:26 & 28-31
